Steps to Amateur Radio (HAM) License
First obtain a FRN number from the FCC
Go to the Commission’s Registration System (CORES) website.
Create a username and password and activate your account with an email verification.
Log in to CORES and select “Register New FRN” if you do not have one.
Choose whether you are registering as an entity or as an individual and fill out the required information.
Your FRN will be available to you immediately after registering online.
Second study for the exam.
