To provide support for the community and citizens of Wilson County through the direction of Wilson County Emergency Management Agency by delivering a high level of technical expertise through Amateur Radio and related technology.
W4EAO - LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer to be a weather spotter for your home area of Wilson County. Spotters will be reporting current weather conditions from the safety of their home during extreme weather conditions via Amateur Radio.
Volunteers will also be called upon in disaster or emergency situations to assist with deployment of strategic equipment and supplies for frontline first responders and public safety.
Applicants should be licensed Amateur Radio Operators or those actively seeking an Amateur Radio license. Members without a license and actively seeking a license have six months to obtain the license.
